About New Moon Wellness

My entire 20's was an existential crisis. I ended up surrendering to a 9-5 at an insurance company for the security. At the time, it seemed like it was the right, and adult thing to do.  It was fine. I made many lasting friendships, had great benefits and the security was honestly, really nice. No matter how hard I tried to ignore it, my soul knew I was meant for something else.  I couldn't settle knowing there was something else out there for me.

I've always wanted to be a teacher and have unceasingly craved adventure. In a whirlwind, I went for it and applied for a teachers residency program in Colorado (I'm a New Hampshire native).  I was accepted, placed in Durango and moved out west. I quickly realized being a teacher wasn't it and that was more than ok.

Letting go of everything gave me the clarity and freedom I needed to make a choice from my soul. As a part time yoga teacher and reiki practitioner in NH, I have always been drawn to health and wellness. I knew I wanted to become a massage therapist. In less than a year, I moved to Crested Butte and was a student at Mountain Heart School of Bodywork and Transformational Therapy. I have never been more sure that I am on the right path.

Listening to each client is important to me.  I want to learn why they have scheduled a massage and how they want to feel when they leave. I love helping people alleviate pain and tension, allowing them to feel amazing in their body.   My hope is that through massage clients  have the ability to move their body with freedom and that this freedom disperses into all areas living, leading to an improved quality of life, hopes and dreams.

Toxic Free and Clean

Our skin is our largest organ of absorption. Choosing products that are toxin free to me and my clients, with a low impact to our environment is very important to me.  If I wouldn't want to put it on my body, it shouldn't be on yours.
